The dilemma of ‘to take or not to take’ straws. The drinks stall that I go still provide straws. To prevent stares and also to be environmental, I decided not to take a straw.
I didn’t take a straw because I thought I had packed a metal straw in my bag. I remember putting it in but can’t find it when I have walked to the bus stop, about 500 metres away from the drinks stall. How? I tried to peel open the sealed container (aka bubble tea style) of drink. It was so difficult to peel off.
I squeezed it a bit too hard as I peel the top off. Guess what? Half the liquid came out. Luo Tang Ji.
So the thought comes to my mind. If I take a straw and disposed it properly, it won’t end up in the ocean right? No harming of turtles, and no harming of myself in Teh O Peng.
Can justify or not?
